Camping de Milin Kerhé

"All things sustainable, bush and country craft, wildlife ecology"

This is the Deal

From April to October we welcome helpers to get involved with activities at our beautiful little campsite. Work includes path maintanence, landscaping, looking after the animals (Goats, sheep, ducks, hens etc), and diverse builiding / decoration projects on the watermill, sanitary block and cottage. In the summer, helpers will be expected to help with looking after holiday makers.

Welcome Skills: Gardening, sense of humor, commitment, Interpersonal skills

The site lies on the bank of the Trieux river, in a wooded valley about 3 miles from the town of Guingamp. It is a very traditional and natural campsite, which is well positioned for walking and boating. We are about half an hour from the sea, which helpers sometimes get to see by hitching rides with campers, or with us at the weekends. It is quite a laid back rustic site, that encourages a really friendly type of clientel.

What Else

We live a happy simple life, which is reflected in our food and the accomodation we offer (spareroom, caravan or tent depending on season) . House flies can be a bit annoying in the warmer months. We are a christian couple, with Maggie (30) being French, and Jon (31) English. We have 2 children and currently live in a mobile home (the only one on the site, and well hidden away!), whilst we are renovation the old mill owners cottage.
