Helping in a juicebar and hostal in Cuzco
This is the Deal
The helper would work in the juice bar and help preparing food, serving the customers and attending to the hostel guests. You would help 6 days per week for up to 8 hours a day, alternating every week with another volunteer in the morning or in the afternoon. The tasks include preparing simple dishes (juices, crepes, breakfast, sandwiches,...), serving food, washing dishes, simple cleaning tasks, receiving payments for both the juice bar and the hostel, helping coordinating reservations and administrating the hostel, and other tasks as needed.
In exchange we offer free accommodation in the Volunteer's room (maximum 3 people, shared bathroom), breakfast every day during your stay and additionally lunch or dinner on workdays.
For a minimum we ask helpers to stay for 4 weeks. We are very flexible if you wish to go on excursions during your stay (e.g. Machu Picchu). We just require some basic cooking skills & strong interest in cooking, and some basic Spanish would be ideal. For helpers wanting to work with us we expect friendliness, tidiness and responsible working at the juice bar.
Also we need a volunteer who wants to work to painting , building desk, chair, something work with wood , to travel to the communities from cusco, too. With wanting to teach english and learn spanish . we prefer to work with a guy
In any case, we suggest to simply contact us to find out more about here and what you would do here! We hope to meet you soon!
Right now !! we need volunteers
This is a small, nice backpacker's hostel in the historic city center of Cusco, Peru, just 5 minutes from the Plaza de Armas. Besides the hostel, we run a juice bar which is a great meeting spot for travelers to chat, get to know each other and exchange travel information. The hostel is mainly frequented by Couchsurfers, since it is a very economic alternative to the big hostels in the city.
