Learn how to manage a self sufficient smallholding

This is the Deal

We are looking for someone who wants to learn how to setup and manage a(n almost self sufficient) smallholding like ours, or wants to learn about permaculture.

We can guide you in managing the household and other volunteers (that are here for a shorter time and work in the garden or have other specific tasks), we can teach you a lot about (permaculture) gardening in 4 seasons, forest gardens and living from the land, keeping chicken and rabbits, handicrafts, blacksmithing...

Welcome Skills: commitment, Interpersonal skills

Our family:
Peter (personal development trainer, blacksmith, good skills in woodworking)
Barbara (web designer, permaculture gardener, handicrafts) and our 2 kids (10 and 4).
We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 10 chicken and a bunch of rabbits.

We live on 15 hectares on the top of a hill in inland Croatia, surrounded by forest.
We don't have WiFi (yet) but the phone signal is good so if you have a smartphone or tablet, you could buy a Croatian SIM card.
The nearest town Vojnic (small shops, cafe's with WiFi) is a 45 minutes walk.

You can stay in a caravan or in a room in the house, depending on the season, on paying guests and on other volunteers.

What Else

Please write to us about you, what you want to do, what you want to learn, how you see your future and other things that we might need and like to know.
